- Spirometry (calculation of air volumes and respiratory flow rates)
- Plethysmography (calculation of static lung volumes that cannot be mobilized)
- Diffusion of carbon monoxide (DLCO) which reflects the gas transfer capacity in the alveoli
*** NB: EFR does not involve any particular risk. To obtain reliable results, it is recommended not to smoke and not to take any bronchodilator less than 4 hours before the examination.
